What are Blue Road Cones used for?

In the last few years, the highways agency have introduced coloured cones to create awareness of different hazards that may be nearby. As briefly outlined above the blue coloured traffic cone is commonly used to warn of an overhead structure. One of the most common overhead obstructions is electrical cables. The blue cones can be uses as a paired item with a yellow 'Danger overhead Cables' cone sleeves in this circumstance (please note that the cone sleeves only fit 750mm and 1metre cones).
